Rev. John Song

Rev. John Song is the Senior Pastor of City of Hope. A Columbia, MD native, he received his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Maryland at College Park and taught Band at Talbott Springs Elementary and Triadelphia Ridge Elementary before moving to a call in ministry.  He received his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. before being ordained in 2017 while serving at Columbia Presbyterian Church as the Pastor of Youth Ministry and Director of Worship.  In 2020, John married the love of his life, Paige, in 2020, and spent two years in Charleston, SC as the Assistant Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church before receiving a call back to Columbia.  In his spare time, John loves fitness, music, reading, and going on walks with his mini goldendoodle, Nova.
